When Bob's battery is drained, his screen will go blank and he will not respond to commands on his cover or remote. To charge Bob, place him on his charging station with the metal plates on his underside lined up with the nodes on his station.
Alternatively, you can charge Bob by plugging the charging adapter directly into Bob's side.
When Bob is charging, the battery bars on his display screen will flash. When he is finished charging, Bob will display the word READY on his screen.
Bob automatically returns his charging station when his battery reaches 15% capacity.
If Bob is having a hard time finding his station, you will need to sync it. To do so, hold down the Adjust/Select (+) button on the charging station.
While still holding down Adjust/Select (+), flip Bob's power switch ON. Bob will beep to let you know the sync was successful.
Bob's station must be placed against a wall on a hard, flat surface with plenty of room around it.
To send Bob back to his charging station, press the DOCK button on his cover or the CHARGE button on his remote.
The only time Bob will move from his station independently is when you have set up a weekly cleaning schedule for him.
Bob should not sit on his charging station for more than 5 days. If you will not be using him at least once every 5 days, turn his power switch OFF to conserve his battery.
