Resetting Mainboard - bObi Classic

If you notice bObi acting erratically compared to her normal working behavior, yet the results of her checkup test are normal, then you may need to reset her mainboard.

First, flip bObi's power switch OFF.

Next, unplug the adapter from the side of her charging station and plug it directly into the inlet above bObi's ON/OFF switch.

Wait 20 minutes before unplugging the adapter and flipping bObi's power switch back ON. By now she should feel refreshed and ready to tackle the next cleaning adventure!

Hi Bryan! If you haven't done so already, go ahead and remove bObi's main brushes and clean them out. Pressing the Hi/Bye button should clear the error code from bObi's remote. If after removing and cleaning her brushes bObi continues to get Error 02, no worries! Our customer support team will gladly walk you through the next steps. You can reach them at 1-888-549-8847 Mon - Fri, 9 am - 5 pm Pacific Time for support in the US & Canada.

I reset the mainboard and that seemed to work once, now I am encountering the same problem. Do I have to reset mainboard again?

Hi Darlene, sorry to hear bObi's having some trouble. I'd recommend reaching out to our support team for further assistance. We can be reached at support@bobsweep.com or 1-888-549-8847. Our business hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Pacific Time.

In the meantime, I'd recommend doing a checkup test on bObi to help pinpoint the issue: https://bobsweep.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/208921007-Checkup-Test-bObi-Classic
