Ordinarily, bObi does not need any help while cleaning your room. But if she ever does run into trouble, she will notify you by displaying on her remote's screen the letters ER coupled with a specific number.
Error code 01 means the edge sensors on bObi's underside (shown as red) are malfunctioning or need to be cleaned.
Wipe bObi's edge sensors with a soft cloth to remove any debris that might be interfering with them.
If bObi continually displays this error while working on dark-colored carpeting, you may need to blindfold bObi using her blindfold stickers.
Error code 02 means bObi's brushes are tangled or need to be cleaned.
Remove her main brushes and clean them thoroughly from end to end. Feel free to use the cleaning tool that came in bObi's box.
Make sure to clean the brush attachment as well.
Error code 03 means bObi's battery is drained completely and she needs a manual recharge to awaken and begin cleaning again.
The best way to manually recharge bObi is by placing her on her charging station so her touch sensors push directly against it.
Alternatively, you can unplug the adapter from bObi's charging station and plug it into the inlet just above her ON/OFF switch.
If bObi is having a hard time finding her station, then you may need to sync it.
Error code 04 means bObi is having trouble with her wheels. Clean and remove anything that could be clogging bObi's left or right wheel. Feel free to use the cleaning tool that came in bObi's box
If the issue persists, use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the four screws that secure bObi's wheels in place.
Then, lift up each wheel and use compressed air or bObi’s cleaning tool to clear the area of any debris.
Error code 05 means bObi's dustbin is installed improperly, or her vacuum motor’s contact points are blocked or bent.
First, remove bObi's dustbin and clean it.
Make sure to thoroughly clean the contact point electrodes on the top of bObi's dustbin.
Check that bObi's electrodes (two metal prongs inside of bObi) spring freely and are not stuck or bent.
If one or both of her electrodes is stuck, use a screwdriver to gently pull the metal tab up and out.
